Bonding

Its important to bond with baby the best way this can be done is with skin to skin contact with baby directly after birth.

Bonding with your newborn really helps support  a parents  transition into parenthood but also baby's development.

Make sure when you teach the subject of bonding - cover all aspects ie: skin to skin, smell, night feeds, responsibility, benefits etc

Holding

When teaching young mothers and their parters its important to encourage hands on theory - it offers confidence. One way we can do this is by investing in some weighted lifelike dolls. These are called reborns.

You can purchase ready made or you can created one yourself. enquire with your tutor if you would like to enrol on a tuition workshop on how to create a reborn.
